Matt Rigney is a public speaker, writer and the author of In Pursuit of Giants: One Man’s Global Search for the Last of the Great Fish, published in 2012 by Viking/Penguin Press.
His opinion pieces, articles and short stories have appeared in Brownstone Review, The Boston Globe, Orion Online and Huffington Post, where he blogs about fishing, ocean conservation and fish. In Pursuit of Giants is his first work of non-fiction. His current project is a novel set in South Carolina and the Rocky Mountains.
Rigney lives in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts.
